Feigom, Norway

A day of riding in 2 parts. The climb ahead was a long one, at least 5 hours, and weather forecasts suggested the pass would see the best conditions around 1700. I left camp leisurely at 10 dropping by the bakery for some inspiration.

View approaching Fortun

The temperature cooled as I climbed, and from the summit, at 5C, wet from the constant cloud mist, I made a quick descent.

View while eating fish soup.

Then after a wonderful fish soup at Bryggjehuset Kafe & Pub I continued along the south side road. The fjord was like glass and the air was still, in stark contrast to the last few days. Ended the day with a very satisfying 105 km ride.
