Balfour Ferry

Riding from Crawford to the dock was hilly; just enough effort to make breakfast while waiting for the Balfour Ferry a treat.

Beautiful winding paved road with little traffic took me to Kokanee Beach Park and the on to Nelson.

Two sisters who were visiting the beach for a swim recomended Oso Negro for Paninis and Coffee.

Oso Negro delivered. As an added treat the place was filled with metal structures, scultures and installations by local artisans, many from the artisan that I was about to visit.

And now to Kevin’s and his forge.
