Grand Tetons – June 12

With an easy day ahead in spite of rain, I took an unnecessary side trip to Brooks Lake. 5 miles in riding, 5 miles out walking through mud and snow. My riding computer does not consider 2 km/h as moving. Saw a wolf, moose, and the beautiful frozen Brooks Lake. Made it back to the highway at Togwatee Pass and sailed all the way to Colter Bay. Arrived as lightning struck and hailstones bounced off the road. I booked a cabin.

More snow and mud than I imagined – 5 miles of hike-a-bike!
Still on Brooks Lake Road. Is that the pass already?
