Smooth ride out of Chaiten to lunch in El Amarillo, followed by a climb over the pass to Villa Santa Lucia. Very happy with 80 km after a ferry boat overnight. Rain turned to sunshine that burned off the clouds hiding the alpine glaciers.

So funny thing about shoes…I am really missing the MacGyvered Sandals from the last trip. I am now riding with flip flops when shoes start to hurt. May look to trade in cycling shoes for some fluffy slides.
