@5C at night when I started riding with daytime highs of 20, to now nights around 12 and days at 25.

I explore parts of your route on Google Earth. You are sure passing through some spectacular terrain . What are the local people like? I see the homes are modest but well ordered.

Interesting homes here. The smaller towns that I have been in often have what looks like a suburb of ordered ‘cookie cutter’ homes. They are apparently given to families who earn below a certain amount with a no downpayment long term mortgage.

Quite desolate looking. How far have you gone to date?

Incredible how few people are around. It certainly makes cycling on gravel/dirt roads easier and less dusty. I am right now sitting enjoying a coffee at the Patagonia Park Headquarters. Before that the last 160 km were without services. In total so far…930km
