Incredible ride today on mostly paved roads to get to the top of our European Divide ride at the Barents Sea where it meets both Norway and Russia. The sun will not set for us until we get to the Arctic Circle 600 km south of us.

Melt is very much underway with only a few snow patches on the hills. Highs in sun without wind approach 18. Nights don’t exist but their timing coincides with cooler temps around 7. Lots of exposed glacier carved rock not unlike the Canadian Shield.
