Muonionalusta, Sweden (Day 6)

Cool and sunny rise out of Sirkka to Muonio through a section of Finland’s Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. After a KMarket dinner at their picnic tables, we crossed over into Sweden to make camp before the looming rains forecast for this evening.

    Enjoying your updates Andreas. Very beautiful area , does look like it may contain a few insects of the bitting variety

      Yes, they are just now starting. Waking up this morning I recognized a familiar bussaw sound. So mosquitos are now out but have not seen any flies yes. As we approach and cross the Artic Circle, I do expect more volume and diversity of flying pests.
