  1. It all looks so GREEN and so OPEN. Great picture.
    BTW do I see walking poles sticking out of the knapsack and if so could you share which model and do you recommend them? I am in the market for such things and it is a confusing area so any independent information would be very useful. They look as if they fold up and that is definitely on my must-have list.

    1. We have Black Diamond walking sticks. We used them on the 1st and 6th walking days for climbing, descending and helping with balance on creek crossings.

      1. Thanks Andreas, as I enter my 84th year later this week I am finding balance looks like it will need some help before too long when taking walks perhaps – ah, the fun of aging! The Black Diamonds seem to be pretty long when folded and I may need something that packs down a little more but I really appreciate the information. Thanks for sharing your walk too!
